Dernie re-emerges in another racing world

(GMM) Having left Williams, formula one veteran Frank Dernie has re-emerged in the world of Powerboat racing.

He is a long time colleague of Sir Frank Williams', and had returned to the Oxfordshire based squad as a consultant engineer in 2003.

But he left the team at the end of last year, and at the weekend emerged in Malta in the role as a member of the Powerboat P1 category's Technical Compliance Committee.
