Lower costs suites available for Indy 500

04/17/07 The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is introducing two new affordable hospitality options, Single Day Suites and the Plaza Chalet Club, this May for the 91st Indianapolis 500.

Both new programs were created to fulfill growing interest from individuals and corporations to entertain on specific days or with smaller groups during the Month of May at the Speedway.

"Single Day Suites and the Plaza Chalet Club came about due to feedback from our customers, who wanted a greater variety of hospitality options for the Indy 500," IMS Director of Sales Bob Beasley said. "These new programs will not only offer more flexibility for larger groups, they will allow smaller groups to enjoy the excitement and first-class service and amenities of a day at the track."

The Single Day Suite program allows for the rental of an IMS luxury suite in either the Hulman Terrace or Gasoline Alley, both overlooking the front straightaway, for 80 people on one day in May. Included in the package:

.80 guest tickets per day
.Four staff passes each day
.20 parking passes each day
.16 garage and 14 pit/garage combo transferable credentials

Customer response to Single Day Suites has been tremendous. Single Day Suites only remain available for practice days May 6 and 7, and qualifying days May 13 (Riley Family Day/Second Day Qualifying), 19 (Coca-Cola Throwback Day/Third Day Qualifying) and 20 (Armed Forces Day/Bump Day).

The Plaza Chalet Club provides complete hospitality in a festive atmosphere for small groups on Race Day, Sunday, May 27, in the Plaza Hospitality Village just adjacent to the Pagoda Plaza. Groups as small as two people can enjoy a premium atmosphere that previously was only available for groups of 50 or more:
