Atlantic Driver Matt Lee Penalized

Champ Car Atlantic Championship driver Matt Lee (#44 Integrated Structures) of Conquest Racing has been penalized five championship points by Atlantic officials following infractions committed at last weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix – Round 1 of the 2007 Cooper Tires Presents The Champ Car Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda.

Lee, a 17-year-old rookie from Syosset, New York, finished 10th in Sunday's season opener. He originally earned 11 points for the finish, but following the penalty, Lee will now carry a six-point total into this weekend's Round 2 at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
