Said confirmed for Sonoma NASCAR race

Road-course specialist Boris Said will compete in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Nextel Cup event at Infineon Raceway, June 22-24. This will mark Said’s eighth consecutive NASCAR Cup effort on the Sonoma Valley road course. Said will pilot the No. 60 SoBe No Fear Energy Drink Ford Fusion over the 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course. The Carlsbad (Calif.) resident has posted three top-10 efforts in NASCAR Cup in Sonoma since 2000, including two sixth-place efforts (2003-2004). He also started on the pole in 2003.
