Davidson fit enough to race – spokeswoman

(GMM) Japanese squad Super Aguri expects Anthony Davidson to be fully fit for the Malaysian grand prix next week, a spokeswoman said on Friday.

The Leafield based team's managing director Daniele Audetto, however, admitted that English rookie Davidson, 27, is "still suffering a little" from the muscular injury he sustained in a clash with Adrian Sutil at the Melbourne season opener.

Davidson completed Aguri's fourth day of testing at Sepang on Friday, doing 68 laps and logging the third quickest time of the twelve runners in action.

Sporting director Graham Taylor said: "It was pleasing to see that Anthony is well on the mend from his Melbourne injury."
