Mathiasen Motorsports moving to Indy

Encino, California- Champ Car Atlantic team Mathiasen Motorsports announced today that it has opened its new racing facility just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. The address of the new facility is 1632 Northfield Drive, Suite 1000, Brownsburg, Indiana.

All racing operations for the team during the upcoming 2007 Cooper Tires Presents The Champ Car Atlantic Championship Powered By Mazda season will be run out of the new facility. The team will continue to maintain its shop in Van Nuys, California and its home office in Encino, California

“The majority of our crew live in Indianapolis and we wanted to have a presence in the racing capital of North America. We will now have access to more vendors and individuals that specialize in providing services to open-wheel race teams like ours and it also helps to be closer to the Champ Car headquarters," said team owner Ray Mathiasen. “This is another major step forward in our quest to win the Atlantic championship in 2007 and to provide a solid base to continue building our racing program in future years."
