Vegas GP odds

It's not a sporting event in Las Vegas unless you can bet on it and with less than two weeks until the green flag flies on the Vegas Grand Prix, Sunset Station Hotel and Casino has set the odds for Champ Car's 2007 opener.

It is no surprise that three-time defending series champion Sebastien Bourdais and the #1 McDonald's car are the favorite at 6/5 odds followed closely by the 2003 champ and Las Vegas resident Paul Tracy at 5/2 odds. What is surprising is Red Bull driver Neel Jani is third on the favorites list at 4 to 1 odds. The Swiss rookie has shown tremendous speed in the preseason testing which the oddsmakers have noticed.

The Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas places odds on every Champ Car World Series event.
