SPEED adds F1 show

The popular SPEED on-air Formula One team of Bob Varsha, David Hobbs, Steve Matchett and Peter Windsor will offer expert analysis of each Formula One race this season, with a new 60-minute program entitled Formula One Debrief, set to debut April 6 at 11:30 p.m. ET.

“This show is for the hardcore F1 fan," said Rick Miner, SPEED Sr. VP Production and Network Operations. “Our team of experts will deliver a level of scrutiny the serious F1 fans have been asking for, giving more attention to specific issues that determine the outcome of each event."

For the 12th consecutive season, SPEED is the home to Formula One racing in the U.S., teaming this season with FOX Sports on coverage of four events. The SPEED broadcast team will call four Grand Prix races on FOX – the Canadian Grand Prix (live), U.S. Grand Prix (live), French Grand Prix and British Grand Prix. The remaining 13 events will be live and exclusive to SPEED, including the famed Grand Prix of Monaco.
