No Doornbos in Melbourne

Robert Doornbos has not traveled to Australia to be Red Bull's official reserve driver.

No details are available but it is believed that team boss Christian Horner simply told the Dutchman not to fly from America, where he is preparing to race in the Champ Car series.

Michael Ammermuller, Doornbos' replacement as reserve, watched official practice from the Red Bull garage on Saturday morning.
