Ford’s February sales decline 13.5%
Ford Motor Co. reported a 13.5% drop in February U.S. new vehicle sales, compared with the same month in 2006, in line with expectations. The Dearborn-based automaker saw double-digit drops in four of its six major brands: Ford, down 15.2%, Mercury, down 13.2%, Jaguar, down 28.3%, and Land Rover, down 10%. Volvo brand sales were essentially flat, at 8,453, up less than 1% from February 2006.
