Lola recognizes staff achievements

The Huntingdon based Lola Group recognized its staffs achievements in gaining Level 2 NVQ qualifications in Composites skills with a special presentation of their certificates by the company’s Executive Chairman and owner Mr. Martin Birrane today.

54 members of the Lola Group staff received certificates for a variety of skills ranging from Laminate Resin Infused skills, hand based processing and fabrication, machine based processing and sampling and testing.

The award is organized and overseen by Composites Training Consortium and the awards are issued by Skills Assurance Services Ltd.

Presenting the award to the staff, Martin Birrane acknowledged the depth of skills employed at Lola by saying, “Lola’s commitment to training and assuring a total competency in the workforce is a vital part of continuing to evolve the company in successfully expanding in to new arenas."

Also on hand at Lola were CTC directors Martin Taylor-Wilde and Chris Little, who both spent time at Lola headquarters implementing the training.

Martin Taylor-Wilde was delighted with the Lola workforce and commented on his time training them, saying: “The Lola staff were very receptive to the course and showed extreme diligence and commitment to achieving these qualifications.
