Siedler signs for Kruse Motorsport

Kruse Motorsport, the Cologne based Le Mans Series team, have signed former F3000 Series Champion Norbert Siedler for their assault on the 2007 championship. Four times Le Mans winner and Pescarolo Sport team boss Henri Pescarolo also confirmed a partnership with the young but successful British-German squad.

24 year old Norbert Siedler will return to the Le Mans Series this season, hoping to repeat his 2006 LMP2 top result at Jarama, where he and his team mates Jens Petersen and JD Lüders achieved a well-deserved 2nd place.

Ian Mitchell (Team Director): „The team is very happy with this signing as Norbert Siedler is going to be a big asset for Kruse Motorsport. He has been signed to give his team mates a positive input and to work closely together with our engineers. We are interested in creating a long term partnership with him, as Norbert’s performance and his success will help to increase the awareness of Kruse Motorsport especially in the German speaking countries."

Kai Kruse (Team Manager): "It’s great to have Norbert back in the team after his fantastic debut at the 1000KMs of Jarama. To continue this partnership makes me happy and confident for the new season and certainly also for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He has not only impressed me with his pure speed but also with his attitude, his motivation and his discipline. He is a team player and we will give our very best to becoming a title contender."

Norbert Siedler: “I have to thank my team principals Ian Mitchell and Kai Kruse for their believe in my abilities and for their ambition. We are optimistic that the new Pescarolo Judd V8 will be a competitive car and we are curious if we can take the challenge to the Lolas. I am looking forward to the first official test at in March."
