Running on star power

This Yahoo! Sports article talks about the 'star' power that the IRL hopes will deliver higher TV ratings in 2007 in the way of Marco Andretti and Danica Patrick. In essence the article says that NASCAR has a two decade head start but that ultimately the success of any series rides on the popularity of its athletes.
