Ford Contracts With Penske

Ford Motor Co. has contracted with Penske Logistics to provide material planning and handling services at a Ford plant in England, Penske announced Monday. The auto plant in Southampton makes about 80,000 vans per year. Penske Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing, began material planning and handling operations at the plant in October. Penske also assumed responsibility for employing its existing work force.
