Despite accident, Bourdais increased points lead

Despite being taken out by Paul Tracy in the final corner of the final lap in Sunday's Denver GP, Sebastien Bourdais increased his points lead by one point. He was leading Justin Wilson by 31 points going into Sunday's race and came out with a 32 point lead over new second place man AJ Allmendinger. Bourdais finished 7th Sunday while Allmendinger won vaulting him up into 2nd place.
