Ferrari, Shell continue engine testing in Bahrain

Ferrari continued testing at Bahrain today, focusing on their engine development program ahead of the 2006 season. Italian Luca Badoer was behind the wheel of a modified F2005 while Spaniard Marc Gene was at the wheel of an F2004 that was fitted with a V8 engine. Both drivers worked with fuel and lubricants supplier Shell on engine testing as well as with Bridgestone on tire development. Gene covered a total of 87 laps with the fastest time of 1:34.807. Badoer covered a total of 86 laps, with a best time of 1:35.477. The two continue testing tomorrow at the Sakhir circuit. Ferrari
