Herta and Franchitti to head AGR ALMS charge

10/29/06 SPEEDTV says that Dario Franchitti will stay with AGR Indy Car team and his brother Marino will take the AGR Acura ALMS seat alongside Bryan Herta.

10/27/06 More information regarding Courage’s plans for 2007 have been revealed. Courage technical director Claude Surmont gave French sports car racing website Endurance-Info.com some details of their 2007 plans.

A third Courage LC75 LMP2 (pictured right) car is on its way to the United States. It will be shipped directly to Honda Performance Development and is expected to be used as a development car for Acura’s program in the American Le Mans Series. Two other LC75s (Highcroft and Andretti-Green) have already been delivered and undergone preliminary tests.

Surmont also said that it is almost certain that there will be multiple Courage LC75s racing in the ALMS next year. One is rumored to be Cosworth powered.

07/25/06 Rumor has it that Dario Franchitti and Bryan Herta will step down from their Andretti Green Racing IRL seats and be the team's two ALMS LMP2 drivers when the team campaigns their new Courage Acura in 2007.
