IMSA Sets Revised BoP for Remainder of Season

IMSA give Cadillacs a weight reduction

IMSA has established the Balance of Performance for this weekend’s Cadillac Grand Prix of Sebring in what is effectively a slightly revised starting BoP for the remainder of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

The new table includes:

• A 5 kg minimum weight reduction for the Cadillac DPi-V.R, which will now run at 960 kg,
• A 15 kg weight gain for the McLaren 720S GT3, countered by a boost increase across all RPM levels.
• A 1 mm larger air restrictor for the Mercedes-AMG GT3, which will provide the car with more power.
• Minor fuel capacity adjustments have been made to multiple cars in GTD compared to IMSA’s initial starting BoP for the ‘regular season’ races.
