Daly fastest in Iowa practice

Dodging thunderstorms and tornado watches throughout the day at Iowa Speedway, the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear managed to complete all their practice sessions for Saturday's second annual Pizza Ranch 100. Topping the time sheets with a lap under the existing track record was Juncos Racing's Conor Daly, who posted a time of 22.156 in the #22 INDECK/College Network Mazda.

Daly will attempt to capture his fourth race win in a row and his third pole position of the season. Daly currently leads the Formula Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear after three consecutive wins. "This is an awesome place – very fast – and the car really needs to be finely balanced, but on the edge the whole time" said Daly.
