Did Allmendinger Retire?

Dear Robert, And AJ's lackluster performance continued in Atlanta this weekend. In the truck race he crashed out and in Nextel Cup qualifying he failed to qualifying for yet another race after his engine blew. AJ was doing horrible in Champ Car and lost his ride at RuSPORT. Forsythe Racing picked him up and paired him with engineer Mike Cannon and immediately he was a winner. In a span of several months he went from zero to hero. Now in NASCAR he's managed to revert himself back to zero status. Fellow Toyota driver David Reutimann drives the number 00 Camry. The inside joke in the paddock is that they should trade numbers. As they say, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Mark C.
