Max Papis to become GM driver

UPDATE Besides driving for the Corvette ALMS team for 2005, look for Max Papis to replace Max Angelelli in the Cadillac CTS-V for 2005 (SPEED Word Challenge?). 12/15/04 Max Papis is leaving the team with which he won this year’s Daytona Prototype crown. The Italian is parting company with the Lexus backed Ganassi squad because of his links with General Motors. He already races its Chevrolet Corvettes in the American Le Mans Series and is tipped to make a switch to a Pontiac team in the 2005 Grand-Am series. Autosport Magazine
