As the first Indianapolis 500 to be held without fans draws near, the chief executive officer of Penske Entertainment Corp. says the plan is to still have fans in the stands for the INDYCAR road course race this fall. Mark Miles says "we just ran out of time" when it came to making the decision to remove fans from this year's Indy 500 due to COVID-19 concerns. The Speedway is continuing plans for the inaugural INDYCAR Harvest Grand Prix, which Miles says could turn into a doubleheader during the first weekend in October.

Miles talked about the 500 decision and future plans in an interview on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick.
