MotoGP: Jack Miller fastest at damp Le Mans
A wet morning and drying afternoon presented ever-changing conditions for the MotoGP teams.
It was a cold and wet start to the day in Le Mans, France as overnight and early morning rain left the circuit wet. With very limited running on a drying track in Austria earlier in the year, many riders made the most of the wet time.
Jack Miller (Pramac Racing) was untouchable in MotoGP FP2 at the SHARK Helmets Grand Prix de France as conditions dried out, with the riders negotiating a wet FP1 at Le Mans on Friday morning.
On a drying track, Miller set a 1:34.356 to finish 0.144 clear of second place Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), with Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) completing the top three.
