IndyCar: Antiquated IndyCars barely faster than F3 car, destroyed by F1 and F2 cars

Ride onboard Formula 1, Formula 2 , Formula 3 and INDYCAR simulator runs around the Autodromo del Mugello to show you the speed difference. All cars wearing the softest tires available. All laps-driven flat out on similar conditions to the best of the driver’s ability.

Amazing to think that the IndyCar is closer to an F3 car than F1 on pace, probably explains why the racing is so good – the slower the cars, the closer the racing.

Roger Penske and Jay Frye do not think a new car is needed to replace the 12-year old spec IndyCar.

And you wonder why the FIA does not award more Super License points to IndyCar?
