TV News: Weekend TV Ratings
FoxTV got a 2.48 rating and 4.315 million viewers for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway, down 4.98% from a 2.61 rating and 4.570 million viewers last year. Viewership was down 5.58%. It was the most watched sports event on TV this past weekend, but only 19% of viewers were in the all-important the 18-49 age group.
The rain delayed until Sunday NASCAR Xfinity race from Fontana on FS2 got a 0.27 rating, down 65.82% from a 0.79 last year on FS1. Viewership was down 76.37%
