Supercars: Feeney claims Race 11 win, van Gisbergen crashes out

The DNF for van Gisbergen ends an 83-race streak dating back to Townsville in 2020. It comes less than 24 hours after his championship rivals Kostecki and Chaz Mostert were involved in a Lap 2 incident yesterday in Race 10.

Monster Energy Racing’s Cam Waters passed six cars to finish fourth for the second consecutive race, while fellow Ford man Mostert picked up seven spots to finish sixth, just behind Shell V-Power’s Will Davison in fifth.

While one half of Red Bull Ampol Racing celebrates Feeney’s victory, the other will frantically work to repair van Gisbergen’s Camaro in time for Race 12, which begins at 1:05 p.m. AEST, followed by Race 12 at 3:50 p.m.

It’s an all-Coca-Cola Racing front row for Race 12, with championship leader Kostecki starting on pole with Toowoomba’s Brown starting second.
