TV Rating Analysis

NASCAR

The USA network drew 1.760 million viewers for the NASCAR Cup race at Kansas Speedway Sunday, down 6.28% from 1.787 million viewers in 2022.  The number of viewers in the all important 18-49 year old range was a horrible 17%.

NBC drew 1.325 million viewers for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity race from Kansas, up significantly from last year’s race on cable channel USA and rain shortened, so no good comparison.  The number of viewers in the all important 18-49 year old range was a horrible 16%, a death knell.

IndyCar

NBC drew only 538,000 viewers for the IndyCar Series finale from Laguna Seca, but as horrible as this was for a network broadcast, it was still up 6.11% from last year’s equally horrible viewership. The number of viewers in the all important 18-49 year old range was a horrible 16%, a death knell.

MotoGP

NBC drew just 325,000 viewers for the tape delayed MotoGP race from San Marino, down 25% from last year, also on NBC. The number of viewers in the all important 18-49 year old range was 25% – better than NASCAR and IndyCar
