ARCA News: Series Announces Jacob Stotz as Director

The ARCA Menards Series announced that Jacob Stotz has been named as the ARCA Menards Series Director, effective immediately.

Stotz will work closely with ARCA president Ron Drager through the transition to the Series Director role after spending the past four seasons as the Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing and Event Operations for the ARCA Menards Series. Prior to joining ARCA in 2022, Stotz was employed at Kentucky Speedway from 2013 through 2020, first in the ticket office and then in sales and client services.

Stotz will be based out of ARCA’s office in Temperance, Michigan, just north of Toledo and report to Drager. His roots in the southeast Michigan area run deep; he is a native of Ida, Michigan and grew up just 15 minutes from ARCA’s headquarters. He is an Ida High School and University of Toledo graduate; he first made the Drager family’s acquaintance when he was selling tickets for the annual Monroe County Fair Demolition Derby, an event connected to ARCA properties for over five decades.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Jake Stotz as the Series Director for the ARCA Menards Series,” Drager said. “Jake has immersed himself into the ARCA Menards Series over the last four years, in a very hands-on capacity working in just about every aspect of what we do from competition, administration, finance, and sales and marketing. He has built very solid relationships with drivers, teams, track operators, and sponsors. He has boundless enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, both of which are terrific qualities for his new position.”

“I am completely humbled and blessed to be chosen as the next ARCA Menards Series Director,” said Stotz. “Thank you to Ron Drager and the leadership at NASCAR for this great opportunity and the trust to lead this series. Growing up in a small farming community, working in motorsports as a career never crossed my mind. With the support of a great surrounding team, there is no industry I would rather call home. I look forward to working with NASCAR, Menards, our staff, officials, partners, drivers, and teams to continue to build the ARCA Menards Series legacy.”

Today’s ARCA Menards Series General Tire 100 race at Watkins Glen International will be televised live on FS2 starting at 2 pm ET.
