TV News: USA Weekend Motorsports TV Viewers/TV Ratings

Fox TV got a 2.06 rating and 3.933 million TV viewers for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup race at COTA, down 4.8% from 4.132 million TV viewers last year. The race was won by Tyler Reddick.

The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg IndyCar race delivered 1.335 million viewers Sunday on FOX to open the FOX INDYCAR season – almost even with last year. The race was won by Alex Palou for the 2nd year in a row.

1.072 million viewers watched the NASCAR O’Reilly Series race from COTA on the CW Network. The race was won by Shane van Gisbergen.

1,039,000 viewers watched Layne Riggs win Saturday’s inaugural NASCAR Trucks race from the streets of St. Petersburg in a thrilling finish on FOX.

This coming weekend Formula 1 will make its debut on Apple TV and IndyCar and NASCAR Cup will be on the 1-mile Phoenix oval on Fox.
