Formula 1 News: FIA F1 2026 Regulation Updates Explained
The FIA recently completed a review of the 2026 F1 Regulations in consultation with drivers, teams, FOM and power unit manufacturers to identify areas of refinement based on data from the first three races of the 2026 season.
A package of changes has now been agreed and will be implemented from the Miami Grand Prix.
Nikolas Tombazis, the FIA’s Single-Seater Director, explains what has changed and why those changes were needed. The proposed changes will now be put to a WMSC e-vote.
