Single-Day Tickets Are Now Available for Grand Prix of Portland

Single-day tickets went on sale today for Labor Day weekend's Grand Prix of Portland, set for August 31-September 2, at portlandgp.com.

This public launch marks 65 days until the green flag drops on an exciting weekend of entertainment in store for festival-goers attending the event at Portland International Raceway (PIR). Prices start as low as $20 for single-day general admission and $70 for reserved grandstand seats.

Three-day tickets are still available for purchase to secure the top seats at the best value in the grandstands for the entire race weekend. Sold only in the three-day option and including a paddock pass to get up close to the stars and cars racing on track, a limited quantity of Gold Level reserved grandstand seats for the highest rows remain.

"Ticket demand has remained strong since Grand Prix of Portland sales for the multi-day passes opened in April," said Jerry Jensen, general manager of the Grand Prix of Portland. "We've added more motorhome spaces, and hospitality suites will line the track in prime locations offering great viewing and an exceptional experience. These have proven to be a very popular entertainment option. This is going to be a can't miss major event in the Pacific Northwest to wrap up the summer season."

Racing action will be non-stop headlined by Sunday's 102-lap (200.94 miles) Verizon IndyCar Series race serving as Round 16 of 17 on the 2018 season schedule. Doubleheaders will be held for all three open-wheel development series comprising the Mazda Road to Indy presented by Cooper Tires. Championships will be on the line as PIR is the final stop in 2018. Mazda Global MX-5 Cup will provide additional full-fender action.
