Mexico race date to move to Cup off-week
NASCAR still plans on taking the Busch Series to Mexico City next year, although the race most likely will run during an off weekend in April.
Mexico City was the third Busch race of the season for the last three years, but Las Vegas has announced its Busch-Sprint Cup weekend would be a week earlier in 2008, which puts it in that slot.

"We're looking to continue to have it on an off weekend, which probably will be sometime in late April," NASCAR Vice President of Racing Operations Steve O'Donnell said Saturday morning at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, where the Busch Series is making its inaugural visit.
"We're just trying to figure out where that will fall on the schedule. Our goal is to still keep that on an off weekend."
If that happened, the Cup off weekends would be March 23 for Easter and then in late April. Scenedaily.com
