Dalziel replacement

You can scratch Ronnie Bremer's name off the list of potential substitutes for Pacific Coast Motorsports this weekend, as he will be racing for Brooks Associates Racing in the Atlantic Series at San Jose.

From his website:

Following Polestar's pause to Atlantic 2007 season, the outlook for Ronnie Bremer was indeed bleak. Some teams have had financial issues but more focus on the European side to business will hopefully improve sponsor interests in the series.

Ronnie says: "When John (Brooks) called me the message was short but clear; "Ronnie, come and join my team, I want you to drive #10 at San Jose this weekend." It was a great message to receive and especially since I have been very much in close contact with John and his team for a long time. Remember, it was thanks to John that I started my career in the US in the first place back in 2004, something I have been grateful for ever since. Now I am really looking forward to delivering a strong performance and I hope that the margin of luck will be on my side for a little while now – I did not have too much of that during my races with Polestar Racing."

With that said it will be interesting to see who the team picks for Ryan's replacement. Will it be an American or will it be a veteran who may be able to help the team with setups? It is an all-American team but how many experienced American veterans who have Champ Car experience, in particular Panoz DP01 experience, are available at the moment. Mexican Mario Dominguez or Brazilian Roberto Moreno come to mind but again, neither are American.
