Is Imola’s F1 return doomed?

UPDATE We accidentally left Abu Dhabi off the list of new F1 venues, making the situation even less likely for Imola.

03/29/07 The current F1 schedule has 17 races. With South Korea already signed and Valencia and Singapore rumored to be inking a deal any day, F1 will have a 20-race schedule. Therefore, there will be no room for Imola to return to the F1 schedule despite all the upgrades they are making. In addition Bernie has expressed a desire to race in Cape Town, South Africa, India, Russia, a 2nd USGP….and Suzuka (Honda's Japan track) wants back in at some point. F1 could have as many as 25 races a year if it was up to Bernie, but we doubt the teams would stand for it.
