Fisher eyeing IRL options for 2007

Sarah Fisher says her management team is pursuing a “variety of opportunities" for the 2007 IndyCar Series season.

The veteran driver, who competed in two IndyCar Series races this season with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, also thanked fans for continuing to cheer her on to a comeback in her regular diary for espn.com.

To prepare for a 17-race IndyCar Series schedule (plus testing), Fisher has been competing in karting events in the off-season and adhering to an exercise regimen. She also is enrolled in college classes with the plan to receive a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. IndyStar
