2007 F1 calendar

Autosport.com reports that the 2007 F1 calendar will look very similar to this year's except there will only be one race in Germany, bringing the number of races back down to 18 according to Bernie Ecclestone. As reported elsewhere, Australia will once again open the season. In addition Ecclestone confirmed there will only be one race in Japan at Toyota's Mt Fuji track. Therefore Honda, having lost their F1 round to Toyota's cash cow, can plow under the great Suzuka track and use it for farm fields, or find another suitable race for it. We are still of the opinion that Honda should hold a Champ Car race at the facility while keeping their IRL race at Motegi.
