Massa to renew with Ferrari

(GMM) A clear indication that Ferrari has not yet settled upon its 2007 driver lineup is Felipe Massa.

Although recently linked with a move to Red Bull, it is similarly rumored that the young Brazilian is now likely to have his one-year contract renewed.

Massa, 24, has driven well in recent grands prix, but his likely presence in red overalls for 2007 probably has more to do with the fact that Kimi Raikkonen is nearing a deal to drive for Renault.

At any rate, he is not really a feature of the 2006/7 silly season, and has in recent races fended off speculation about his future with a suggestive air of confidence.

Massa and manager Nicolas Todt have, however, also cropped up in apparent negotiations with Toyota, but Felipe told Auto Motor Und Sport: ''You have to look around so that you are prepared for the worst case.''
