Atlantic team close to announcing major deal

AutoRacing1.com learned earlier this week that a Champ Car Atlantic team is close to announcing a major sponsorship deal that will see a well known Canadian driver who has driven in some Champ Car races already in one of their Atlantic cars in 2007 with the plan to move him up to Champ Car in 2008. We have been asked to keep the deal quiet until Monday when the team hopes the sponsorship check will hit the bank.
