Mexican newspaper Excelsior has on its web page edition and paper edition an article with the headline "Champ Car is dead in México" According to the article the fact that Mario Dominguez is out of a seat 2 days before Portland activities begin and the troubles David Martinez is having to get sponsorship proves that the once popular series in México is dead in the country.
