Honda boss could lose his job

(GMMf1NET) In the Spanish test paddocks last month, the odd rumor flew around that Nick Fry's spot at the helm of Honda may be less than safe.

The speculation has been given further momentum with the news that Willem Toet, the team's senior aerodynamicist who quit last month, left Brackley after a dispute with the team principal.

F1 Racing magazine said in its January edition that, upon leaving, Toet sent Fry an email, which – apparently referring to Fry – included the phrase: ''I will not be abused.''

While admitting the existence of Toet's email, Britain's Nick Fry denied he was in danger of losing his job.

''That's rubbish,'' Fry, who replaced David Richards for the start of the team's troubled 2005 season, told F1 Racing. ''I have absolutely zero worries as far as that's concerned.''
