Tracy, NASCAR eye Canada

Champ Car veteran Paul Tracy still hasn't given up on the idea of competing in some NASCAR events in 2006. ''I want to do a handful of races next year,'' Tracy told the Toronto Sun. ''I had a nice meetings with (NASCAR boss) Brian France and talked to him about what's going on in Canada.''

Tracy wants to be involved if NASCAR comes to Canada.

''I am absolutely convinced that NASCAR will have one of its top races in Canada in 2007,'' Tracy told the Toronto Sun. ''They are pretty tight-lipped but I took away from my meeting with Brian that their focus is on Canada.
