San Jose plans for 2006

UPDATE We hear the changes that will be announced for San Jose involve no track reconfiguration changes, just widening, smoothing out the railroad tracks, building more bridges and grandstands and other minor improvements. Mark C. 11/04/05 Rumor has it that Canary fund founder, Don Listwin, San Jose Mayor, Ron Gonzales, Champ Car World Series driver and Los Gatos native, A. J. Allmendinger of RuSPORT Racing, Champ Car Race Director, Tony Cotman, San Jose Grand Prix President, Dale Jantzen, and San Jose GP VP and General Manager, Bob Singleton will hold a press conference on Wednesday November 9th to discuss next year's race. We assume they will discuss a revised circuit layout for 2006……among other things.
