Crocker Nextel Cup bound

Erin Crocker will test a Busch car at Dover on Tuesday, in anticipation of running there in late September. She was set to run Friday's ARCA race here until crashing at Nashville. Crocker's specific 2006 plans will be announced soon, said car owner Ray Evernham, who has invested heavily in the 24-year-old redhead, with plans for a full Busch tour run next year in a Dodge. It may be "use her or lose her" game for Evernham, because General Motors is interested in her Nextel Cup potential. Winston Salem Journal
