Long Beach race to change dates

In a recent interview Champ Car president Dick Eidswick confirms that by 2007 they will shift the Long Beach race to a week after the Masters Golf Tournament so the race's TV ratings don't suffer. The issue was getting the Long Beach Convention Center clear that weekend for them. The Convention Center is a key element for the event, housing the motorsports expo as well as the Toyota Atlantic pits.
