Champ Car to have two Pacific Rim swings

With Japan and China both being possible new additions to the 2006 Champ Car schedule AutoRacing1.com has learned that all four Pacific Rim races will not be done together. We hear that Sapporo, Japan and Beijing, China will probably happen in May when the weather is warmer. Both are fairly far north and, therefore, get snow in the winter. Their climate is not too unlike the majority of the USA. The other two Pacific Rim races, South Korea and Australia, would continue to be run on back-to-back weekends in October. Mark C.
