Track scan dumps IndyCar

A letter from Track Scan:

"Dear IndyCar Fans,

It is an honor to have such a dedicated and loyal fan base over the past 20 years while providing Track Scan services at IndyCar events. We have truly enjoyed seeing familiar faces returning event after event, year after year. Track Scan has felt like a member of your extended racing family and for that we thank you!

Today, we are sorry to announce that Track Scan products will no longer be available at all 2014 IndyCar events. The changing racing landscape and distribution of resources does not make it viable to return to the full IndyCar schedule. As with all of our Series partners, we will continue to work together to revisit this partnership as part of the FanVision portfolio of events.

We are not leaving the series entirely as we will be at the Indianapolis 500 and the new Grand Prix of Indianapolis providing both FanVision and Track Scan scanner products. We hope you come see us, say hello and learn more about the FanVision service. FanVision is the best in-venue fan enhancement content device and will truly change how you watch, listen and follow the race!
