Chicagoland Speedway set to confirm MillerCoors renewal

Chicagoland Speedway is poised to announce a multi-year extension to its sponsorship deal with brewing giant MillerCoors on Monday, according to Danny Ecker of Crain’s Chicago Business.

The new agreement, which also covers the adjacent Route 66 Raceway drag-racing venue, will see Miller Lite remain as the official beer of the venue, a title it has held since 2001.

Miller’s inclusion at Chicagoland includes naming rights to the Miller Lite Pit Stop beer garden and the Miller Lite Turn 1 Party Deck, as well as other signage around the venue. "It's a perfect fit for us," Chicagoland Speedway president Scott Paddock told Ecker. "They're an industry leader and we love doing business with companies in our backyard."

Alongside Chicagoland, MillerCoors has partnerships in place with tracks in Indianapolis, Charlotte, Richmond, Las Vegas, New Hampshire and Talladega.

Chicagoland’s first major event this year will be the STP 300 Nascar Nationwide Series race on 21st July.
