2011 F2 Calendar revealed

Motorsport governing body the FIA has unveiled the 16-race calendar for next year’s Formula 2 Championship. Silverstone will play host to the opening two rounds in mid-April before Barcelona retakes its season-ending slot six months later. In late August, Austria’s Red Bull Ring will make its debut in the series.

22 May Magny-Cours, France – Rounds 3 & 4 *
26 June Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium – Rounds 5 & 6 *
03 July Nürburgring, Germany – Rounds 7 & 8
24 July Brands Hatch, United Kingdom – Rounds 9 & 10
28 August Red Bull Ring, Austria – Rounds 11 & 12 *
02 October Monza, Italy – Rounds 13 & 14 *
30 October Barcelona, Spain – Rounds 15 & 16 *
