IndyCar News: Rinus Veekay tops Practice 2 in Alabama
Rinus Veekay put his #21 Ed Carpenter racing Chevy at the top in Practice 2 for the Children’s of Alabama IndyCar Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park.

Veekay led a Chevy 1-23 that saw Romain Grosjean 2nd quick, 0.0356s behind Veekay driving his #77 Juncos Hollinger Chevy, and Scott McLaughlin 3rd quick in his #3 Penske Chevy, 0.06s behind Veekay.
Two Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Hondas rounded out the top-5.
Graham Rahal was 4th quick, 0.1125s behind and just ahead of his teammate Christian Lundgaard who was 0.15s behind Veekay.
1-second separated the top-20 spec IndyCars.
