Hard Rock cafe signs on as presenting sponsor in Surfers

The Hard Rock brand has once again confirmed its support for international and Australian artists, announcing its support of ‘600 Sounds’ – part of the Armor All Gold Coast 600 – today.

The music festival will feature 16 international and Australian acts including Ian Carey, international legends the Beach Boys, Empire of the Sun and Sneaky Sound System at the Broadwater Parklands across three nights October 22-24 as part of the Rock N Race format of the Armor All Gold Coast 600.

The event will now be known as 600 Sounds presented by Hard Rock, and will also feature the Hard Rock Sounds Lounge – the backstage ‘green room’ serving artists, VIPs and members of the media, before the party continues all weekend back at the Hard Rock Café in Surfers Paradise.

Hard Rock owner Lennie Huntly said “we are thrilled to partner with such a successful brand as the Armor All Gold Coast 600 and support live music of the highest caliber."

“We see live music as an essential and unique part of this event for the public. We are looking forward to taking Hard Rock and its relationship with Australian and international bands to a new level and forging an ongoing relationship with Supercars."

Armor All Gold Coast 600 General Manager Shane Howard said the partnership was another example of Gold Coast business getting behind the revitalized event.

“The announcement of Hard Rock Cafe as presenting partners for the 600 Sounds music festival is just another example of how the Gold Coast community is embracing this event," said Howard, “

“Just last week we spoke about how the local Gold Coast business community is coming on board with us and we couldn’t be happier to today be talking about a partnership with yet another great local business and international brand."

Lennie Huntly and his business partner David Rich, owners of the Hard Rock Australia, have recently signed a long-term agreement to partner with Hard Rock International to develop Hard Rock Cafe locations in Australia.
